Okay, I finally started taking pics of my swap packages. First off were the 13 Days of Halloween swap. Just opened Day 13 today (oops!) I may have been a day early. Sooo What is it? A NEW Matchbox LONGS. They are so neat. They're decorated like cigar boxes. I picked them up at the Tobacco Store when I went in looking for the 32ct boxes. I counted the long matches in a couple of the boxes, and there was 14 in one and 19 in the other. So anywhere from 14 - 20 matches in the box (I'm guessing). These look too pretty to alter. Only my MOST Favorite Swap Partners may receive one as an extra, so watch your mail.

After a much unsettling day yesterday, with yardwork, the dogs, not finding my husband, and the Swap-Bot Drama, I feel a whole lot better. I think I started feeling better when I received an email from RJ that the network was "Cool". The weight was lifted.

Well, I'm back at home now. So, I'm going to be working hard to see how many swaps I can get out by tomorrow. Whatever I don't get out tomorrow, will go on Tuesday, 8 Sep. If you've sent to me this week, my mail was on hold. So if it came through, I will get it all in Saturdays mail delivery.

No Treasure Hunting Today

Well, I ended up not treasure hunting today. I walked during the lunch hour from the school house to the Base Store. OMG! It was 98f out and I guess you can say, I had heat on the brain, cause' I don't know what I was thinking. I had no water to hydrate and got really really hot. Well I'm in San Antonio TX and have 6 Thrift Stores in my GPS that I have to get to in the next 3 days. Well see what I can come up with. Gosh I think this one is number 4 or 5 in my series. It was sent out on the 20th. This one is called Country Settings. This picture doesn't show the finished piece. But it's pretty close. I used "Toi'let Paper" Wrapping paper Country Setting as the background. It's a really pretty tissue type paper.
